Falcons nab Jackson

With their first pick in the third round, the Falcons took LSU cornerback Chevis Jackson. Jackson is expected to help fill some of the void left by DeAngelo Hall. He had 5 interceptions last season for LSU, an integral part of their championship team.

The Falcons have two more picks in the third round. One acquired from the Washington Redskins, and the third being a compensatory pick awarded by the NFL.
