Two things:

1) You're pretty high on Brandon Harris.
2) Marcus Cannon? You really think he'll go that high?

Yea I'm pretty high on Harris. I really liked him last year as I saw quite a few Miami games. This year he's only gotten better. I haven't fully scouted him yet but I really like what I see so far.

As for Cannon I think so. He's just so versatile and he's got the size and athleticism combo that teams will love. This OT class is also pretty weak so I can see him in the 2nd round. He makes sense for the Steelers in the late 1st though and I can see him sneaking into the 1st if that's the case.

I've seen a bit of Harris, but he's never really wowed me. I expect him to go somewhere at the end of Round 1 or maybe a few picks into Round 2, but from what I've seen of him last year and this year, I never saw a potential Top 10 pick. But it wouldn't be the first time someone went that high that made me wonder a bit. Maybe I haven't seen enough of him, but I see him more as a good No. 2 corner than a No. 1 guy.

As for Cannon, I certainly would think he'll be a 2nd round pick, but I think it's probably a stretch for him to go in Round 1. I did a mock a few days back and had the Steelers taking Solder at the end of Round 1. I don't think Cannon is really going to be considered much of an OT prospect by NFL teams when the time comes. He is very raw in his technique. Personally I consider him to be a 3rd/4th round pick that is more big than good, and currently is my 6th ranked senior guard. You get instances where that's enough for some teams, and you're right this isn't a great year for O-linemen because they isn't really any signature prospect out there, and his ability to play more than one position should bump his stock.

I'd agree with you on Cannon. He really should be a 2nd round pick at best but I can see a team falling in love with his size, athleticism and versatility. The Steelers for example need a guard but with the injuries they suffered Cannon can easily kick out to RT and be a good run blocker similar to Flozell Adams for them this year.

Personally, I envision the Steelers looking at a LT. Then they could move Starks back to RT, and then kick Colon inside to RG when he comes back. And then use Flozell Adams as a swing tackle.

I think someone like Solder or DeMarcus Love are good fits. Although the Steelers do tend to like guys with size, so Cannon wouldn't be too far off.
