I've wondered about the plethera...no, the epic carpet bombing quantity of zombie movies the last few years. Then this movie Walking Dead comes out and in the trailer I see none other than the Georgia Dome in the wreckage of society with zombies roaming around dead but unable to fall down. It hit me. They should be wearing Falcons jerseys. All of us who have followed this team as it lurches from death to death are really just football zombies. every year we trudge moaning to the Dome and trudge out somehow compelled and yet tortured in our fate. All we want to do is eat the heart and soul of the living by getting them to also become Falcon fans. Maybe aforum called the Zombie Lounge where we can do all the Dead Horse topics...Vick, Mora, Reeves, the Smiths, new stadium (morgue)....

Walking Dead is actually a tv series that will be premiering on AMC on Halloween night.

But the reason for the uptick in zombie movies in recent years is because of the downward spiral of America in the past decade, and thus when Americans start to get pessimistic, Hollywood makes movies about the end of the world.

So, it's part of the Process?
