Academy Award Predictions

1. Best Supporting Actress - Mo Nique for Precious
2.Best Supporting Actor - Christopher Waltz for Inglorious Bastards
4.Best Actress - Meryl Streep close call between her and Sandra BullockVullock might win but Streep has that reputation.
5.Best Actor -Jeff Bridges ..I am really hoping Jeremy Renner wins for Hurt Locker
6.Best Director - Kathryn Bigelow for Hurtlocker..Bigelow used to be married to James Cameron and I think a female finally wins the award. It was a movie that didn't cost alot to make but had a big impact
7.Best Film -Avatar - this is a tough call The Hurt Locker will be right there in a dogfight but Avatar had everything you want in a film.

Anyone watch the Academy awards? I thought it was rather odd at the end when the most important award, the best picture award, seemed to be rushed and not much drama leading up to announcing it. Congrats to The Hurt Locker for winning best pic. Just proves that a little budget movie can take on the big boys and win. Personally, I thought Avatar should have won but oh well. I was shocked Sandra Bullock won for best actress in the Blind Side. Now I didn't see that movie but Meryl Streep's version of Julia Child was dead on.Congrats to Sandra she has done some very good movies.

Jeff Bridges finally won best actor congrats. I vaguely remember the Sea Hunt series Lody Bridges did but Jeff has had a long successful career.Congrats to Kathryn Bigelow for winning best director. First woman ever to win the award and another milestone.
