ANDREW AGUILA
5-11/188
Central Michigan Senior

PROS: Shows a good leg on field goals and kickoffs. Has the leg strength to get the ball inside the 5-yard on kickoffs. Also has range up to 50 yards on field goals. Shows good accuracy on field goals.
CONS: Kickoffs are inconsistent, as I've seen games where he struggles to drive the ball inside the 15 and others where he easily drives it inside the 10-yard line. Doesn't appear to have a consistent stroke as a kicker.
OVERVIEW: He's a productive college player with an NFL-caliber leg, but just doesn't wow you anywhere.
NFL FORECAST: He's one of those players that can compete in the NFL, but isn't quite good enough in any area to think he'll stick anytime soon. Give him a couple of more years working the annual kicking camps, then I would say he has a shot. I think he is worth a look in camp, but he's not going to land a gig right off the bat unless a team is really desperate and looking to go young. He can kick off in the pros, but he's not good enough to stick there long-term. And he doesn't offer the eye-popping leg strength as a field goal that makes going young seem like a good idea. Basically most 40-yards have comparable legs, and you're better off sticking with the vet.
ATL FORECAST: He could come in and show some things for the Falcons next summer, but isn't the young kicker with the high upside to make you think he really has any shot of upsetting a veteran like Matt Bryant. His biggest value would be to get a good look at another kicker for future reference down the road. So that when he gets cut by the Falcons, spends a few years in Canada or the Arena league honing his craft, he'll be more inclined to let the Falcons get first dibs when he's actually NFL ready.
VALUE: He's not worth drafting, but some team could bring him to camp.
