After leading the NFL with 2,672 rushing yards last season, the Falcons are once again leading the NFL on the ground. One of the biggest reasons for the Falcons offensive success this season has been their ability to run the football well on a consistent basis. The team-oriented, change-of-pace backfield of RB Warrick Dunn, Michael Vick, and T.J. Duckett, or the “DVD Backfield†for short, has carried the Falcons over the 200-yard rushing mark in four-of-seven games so far this season. The Falcons, who have out-rushed opponents in 17 of the 25 games in which Jim Mora has been head coach, rank first in rushing yards (1,317) and yards per carry (5.4).

As fast as the Dolphins defense is, stopping the run will be a difficult job for us.
