Which is why it is so scary to see Vick in there with a slightly banged up knee, especially when you consider many guys try to hurt him like Thomas tried to do.

A lot of folks are thinking Simms will still be the starter though.

none of those Qb's really scare me...they are all prone to do something stupid..of course so is Aaron Brooks and we made him look like Steve Young last sunday so we'll see how it goes...

Rattay would be better than Simms....When SF's O-line actually would block for him he didn't do terrible...

Rattay could do damage in Tampa Bay if he had an entire off-season and summer to learn the offense and work with the team.

But I'm afraid he doesn't have that luxury, and Simms will likely be the starter for the next few weeks or so. McCown might get some work, but I highly doubt he's going to be a better option than Simms or Rattay.

We'll see how it goes. Our first matchup with the Bucs is in 4.5 weeks. I suspect Rattay won't be quite ready at that point, but we'll see...

well I can honestly say I havn't seen that much of Rattay but what I have seen he's been decent...but I will say that someone who lives in the bay area probably has a much better idea than I do....none the less he's got to be a better option that Simms or McClown
