As a reminder, I want to let everyone know that in the next few weeks we plan to upgrade the software of these forums to phpBB 3.0.

I'm aware that there will be those people that won't initially like the new software, just as I'm aware many will instantly love it. But I do think with time, most will grow to appreciate it.

I wanted to wait until a week or two after the Falcons made their head coaching hire so that everybody could get a bit of their joy (or frustration) out of their system.

There is a slight chance that in the process of the upgrade, there might be a few bugs, and some information on these forums may be lost. I'm hoping that is not the case, but if so I apologize ahead of time.

Already I've run a few tests on clone forums, and the one thing I'm most worried about is each user's info getting lost in the process.

I hope the history won't be lost. To be that is the "soul" of the forum. I have never been one to like change....lol...i would still be happy with Reeves as HC.

What is causing all the problems with posting today? I have tried twice to post a new topic and it won't go through? When I post on an existing topic, I get an error message. The post will be finally be added. In addition, the post gets added multiple times. Is anyone trying to remedy this?

I have no clue what that is all about. I haven't messed with the board software yet, so something weird is going on.

Okay, I think it's fixed. One of the tables in the forum's database crashed, and when I tried to repair it didn't work. So i had to do some roundabout repair job.

Board looks good. I'm sure you've got a ton of tweaking to do. Briefly looked through the control panel, lots of new features. Thanks again Pudge, you're the man.

I like the layout, but the bright colors make it hard to read.

I think the worst thing of the new boards is your Avatar, Pudge.

It'll take a bit getting use to, but that's normal with any change. Other than that, yeah, playing with the color schemes would be great to make it more readable.

I can read it fine, maybe it's just your monitor. However, I'm sure Pudge will make an alternative skin for this forum for those who have lighter than usual monitors.

I think Pudge said it would be more traditional Red and Black or some form of Falcons colors as soon as he can make the change.....sometimes i subconsciously think i am on the Carolina Board.

I just switched to the SubSilver2 version of the forum, and I'm starting to like it more than the blue layout. Of course, I understand that it will be changing within a month or two, so I guess I shouldn't be getting used to any skin layout at this point.

Pudge, would it be too much to ask if we can possibly see the banner that you will use after it is made?
