Yes. I think the general logic is if you toss your garbage with everyone else the things you want fall through the cracks. With a surge of cuts on hte 4th some "gems" might find their way to the practice squad that might have otherwise been signed by a team that was on the fence with that need.
We'll probably see guys we have no desire to keep around get cut here and there. Otherwise everything else goes on the final cut down day.
