Doesn't sound major, but who knows, this guy is made of glass, would be shocked if he gets in 10 games this year, we need to sign a veteran safety asap imho.

Agree. Falcons denial on their depth was a glaring issue heading into camp. Lowery and Moore on average have combined to miss about 7 games per year over their careers. The fact that the team was so reliant on a green guy like Southward to step up is telling.

But people are gushing about Kemal Ishmael and Sean baker as of late. Will be curious if they play well in the preseason.

Looks like we're cross-training McClain and Allen to work at safety. it makes sense, those two do possess a semi-safety skill-set. Been pushing for the team to try McClain at safety since February, and I did think watching Allen at Purdue, that he might make a heckuva safety if he was only a few inches taller and a few pounds heavier (more NFL ready than say Southward)

This is his 4th concussion between college and career? If I was Lowery I'd be more concerned about my brain health than my career and would consider retirement seriously.

Some of the problems with concussions in the league isn't just on the NFL but players that keep on playing and keep on racking them up despite the long term consequences. At some point one has to acknowledge that they are just at greater risk to get a concussion playing the game vs. other players.
