CHOW TO GET NFL O-COORDINATOR GIG?

We heard from several NFL front office types this week that USC O-Coordinator Norm Chow -- who it seems has been passed over for every vacant D-I job known to mankind -- may be taking his offensive prowess to the pro game for 2005. Teams linked to have an interest in Chow include the Jets, Jags, Browns and Cardinals.

Watching chow's offense vs what Knapp has done is like night and day.Chow is one of the most creative offensive coordinator's in pro or college. No way do the falcon's cut knapp now since it is Mora's buddy.Chow is going to be a huge success in the NFL just get him some players.

It was a major mistake for Stanford to pass up Norm Chow for Walt Harris. I know their AD is old friends with Harris, but really Chow is a very smart coach, as you said. The only thing I might think is that he doesn't interview well, or maybe a bit too quirky, but he seems normal enough from what I've seen.

I could see Chow going to Chicago to tutor Rex Grossman. I could see the Jags and Cardinals doing a lot to get him as well.
