As anyone seen this guy play from UCLA? I think he did real well at the senior bowl and his stock is rising. He's big around 275-280 wt and makes plays behind the line. Walter Football as him as the Falcs first rounder. I read a scouting report that mentioned Jones could be switched to def tackle and beefed up where he could be a steal if he realizes his potential.

I really like Dantae Jones not as much as Margus Hunt but I do like him a lot.

I saw one game of Jones (bowl game vs. Baylor) and I saw some flashes there. He's got the sort of size/athleticism/quickness I think to be a good fit in Nolan's scheme because there's the potential he could play DE in a 3-man front, DT in a 4-man front, and also stand up a little and rush with his hand off the ground.

I need to see more however.

I would probably say that Hunt's potential to be a dominant force up front is probably higher, but Jones might be a bit more versatile. Hunt may purely be a 5-technique, while Jones could serve a variety of roles.

Thanks for your answers. I certainly hope TD doesn't reach for a player and whoever we select is graded at the top of their board or near it when selection time comes. Hopefully its a def end but we certainly don't need another reach.
