Totally f**** jobbed. Totally. The chicken-s*** personal foul on the "pull-down," the ticky-tack hit to the head on Kaep on 3rd, the no-calls on 2 hits to Ryan's head after that, the no-call on Roddy on 4th . . .

f**** unbelievable.

Well, no, believable.

ATL should have made more plays to win, but we just got utterly jobbed.

Now that that's vented, it's time to call my 49er friends and congratulate them on what was a pretty good game.

The refs didn't lose this game for us, Mike Smith did. I hope that people recognize that we were shut out in the 2nd half, just like we have been for most of Mike Smith's tenure. He's too conservative to go for the throat.

He didn't fumble the snap, he didn't fall down, he didn't fail to set a degree of consistency. SF came out and played hard. Abe and Nicholas blew multiple reads on the outside on the TDs, Ryan called TO in the 3rd quarter.

That looked like Pass interference to me. 3 bad calls in the game imho, the personal foul for hitting Kap in the head, Douglas catch and the final play. Anyways, the guys left it all on the field. We didn't win it but I'm proud of our guys.

Absolutely. No one gave us a chance in either game, and we were in both until the end.

IMHO the refs called a good game. It seemed to me that they kept their flags in the pocket unless it was flagrent and "let them play" as they should in a Championship game.. I saw quite a few 'push-offs' be Julio and Roddy that were not called. Mathews hand hit the QB's facemask tipping the helmet and was an obvious automatic call.

Ryan's head got hit twice in the last drive, including one helmet-to-helmet. If you are going to call Matthews you have to call that. Unless of course you miss it. :beef:
