Im going to try not to be such a Debbie Downer, so in the spirit of 'putting the cart before the horsesh*t' I am throwing this out there...

Now I know, alot could happen this weekend, but right now, with the 2 teams that will come here: who do you want to see?

I could see a case for SF. They would have to travel, and play in the Dome for the NFCCG, plus the history of these two franchises makes it appealing.

But there would be something special to reclaiming our Mojo from the Packers, and avenging that 2010 loss.

who would we match up best against?

*Fun Gus note. Please, dont anybody be 'that guy' that has to post 'let's just win this one and not worry about it until next week', okay? it' s just for sh*ts and giggles.

Jinx much? I'm not a superstitious guy at all, but really, you're going to pose the question of who would you rather play in an upcoming game that requires us first to win a game where we have at best a 55-60% chance of winning.

I'll be that guy.

But... it's no secret, the obvious answer is Green Bay. I'm sorry, but if you think the Falcons match up better against the 49ers, you are either crazy, stupid, or blind. Now I guess that's different than who you want to see, since there are those people out there that want to see the Falcons play the best and subsequently beat them as some sort of F U to the critics and so-called haters. Personally, I say F U to those people. Because if the end-result is the same, I'd prefer the path of least resistance. And that's definitely GB, although they are also an extremely difficult matchup for the Falcons as well.

I want the Packers that sh*t is personal. That is one of the handful of times that my spirit was crushed as an adult lol. I want payback like no other. Plus I think that our pass rush would actually be considered "formidable" against their o-line.

Frankly, I'd love either matchup, because 1) it means we can give the finger to everyone on the national scene that won't give us the snowball's chance in hell to win THIS game and 2) both have histories with us that makes me dislike them. Add to that both are tough match ups and would be good games.

So bring 'em on, I really don't care which one.

Packers. It has been 11 years since the Falcons escaped from the NFC West. Since we've been out of there, the Falcons have not lost to the 49ers. Seems to me that we're over the 49ers. The Packers are our new nemesis. Given what our defense has done to top QB's this year, I'll take Nolan vs Rodgers every time.
