Apparently after 1 week, he asked for his release. I'm guessing he couldn't handle the culture in Foxborough which from what I've heard is definitely not for everybody.

He's done. His knee is too f'd up.

Apparently, his knee causes him pain, but he's still able to play just fine. Because of the pain, I'm sure that he's not in top form, but he could come here and play 2nd fiddle to Gonzo if he's willing.

Ok, so I'm curious why you guys are against Winslow. I don't have a man crush on him or anything, but other than, "he's injured," I'd like to know why you guys are against him. "Umm, No," is a pretty uninformative, if not, disrespectful response.

He's a head case, no good for the locker room. He thinks he's allot better than he is at this point in his career. He expects star treatment, but his body really puts him at a backup level. If he became humble, I'd take a chance but that's not gonna happen.... So in summation, the potential to upset the balance in our locker room is greater than the potential he could help on the field.

vs what we already have.

We do not need a viable 'threat' at TE because we still dont or wont run those sets. WE need a blocking TE, not someone who might need to 'see those reps'.

That being said, my man crush TG should and could be blocking better, but I think he is saving himself for the PS..So unless we lose Turner, and another piece ( HD) then I say no way. But if that happens, and we need to rethink on the fly, then yes'.

Thanks DaveWaz. I didn't realize that he had attitude problems. I haven't heard a lot about that over the years, possibly because his antics don't measure up to the TO's and Randy Mosses out there.

The problem with K2 is that his knee is so bad that he can't really practice. So the potential that he can come somewhere mid-season or without a full off-season to learn a playbook, makes it nearly impossible for him to get up to speed sans practice and be able to contribute.

That's why I've heard Seattle cut him. He couldn't practice, althought he contributed in the preseason games, and with Carroll's philosophy of everybody competes, you can't really justify giving a roster spot to a guy that can only contribute on Sundays and not really Monday thru Saturday.
