Visited a strip joint in Rhodes Greece with my friend from Ukraine. The strip club was different than the one in the states where they dance all the time. Not many girls danced at all on stage and didn't disrobe. Anyway my friend and I had two strippers come up to us and sat down. The girl I had I'd rate a 10 out of 10 and my friend's girl a 8 8.5. The dances at the club were ok but we both wanted more fun so the girls said they had a package pay 300 euros and we could meet them after the club closed at 7:00. They needed the place we were staying and room #.. Rather than waiting till 7 am we got a room across the street and told the girls the info they requested. 7 AM came and the girls didn't arrive. We went to the club and it was completely closed.We basically got stiffed by the girls.I went from cloud 9 with a knockout down to be very depressed the morning when they didn't show. I learned a lesson never pay in advance which I already knew but these women had us wrapped around their fingers. I bought like 4 champagne bottles and we kept drinking having a great time. When we left I bet those girls were thinking so long suckers. I'll never make this mistake again. Prostitution is legal in Greece but it was a damn shame this had to happen.

Working on a ship there aren't many decent looking available women, sports suck trying to follow what's happening in America. Guess I'll have to get my Pam Anderson posters out again for some fun.

Tough break, but you said it, you knew you shouldn't pay in advance, you did, and you got suckered for it. How many euros did you end up dropping that night in total with the 300 included?

I'd say 520 euros altogether. I'd like to go back to that club and possibly see that girl however I doubt she is there often since many probably work in other clubs. The guy who was in charge of getting us a hotel and walked me across the street to get it plus take our money was also part of the scheme.I'd just like to know what they would say knowing they scammed us. My Ukraine friend sent an email to the club in regards to the issue but I doubt the club gives a hoot. Businesses that run their operation like that should shut down however who knows maybe the mafia is part of the deal in these European places.

Not to be a douche (although I can't help it sometimes), I'm not sure I can go with you on that statement. I've never heard of a classy strip club. It may look nice, but the nature of their business sort of means that all strip clubs have a significant level of shadiness that is hard to overcome. Strip clubs are like casinos, everything about them is designed for you to spend as much money as possible in them. So the fact that you got ripped off by one, I can't say is necessarily a sign of their bad business practices, but just you not being vigilant enough.

Not to suggest what happened to you is acceptable or isn't wrong, but I just don't think you can go into a strip club and expect good customer service like you would if you went to a car dealership, grocery store, or electronic store and complained about getting ripped off.


Why just Europe? It's hard for me to imagine very many upstanding citizens that profit in 22-year old women showing their hoo-has to complete strangers.

You do make some good points Pudge. Basically strip clubs are like fantasy land and once you leave the place you can't expect the strippers to do what they promised, its very risky. I took the risk and got burned simple as that.Chalk it up to experience and learn from it. I really don't go to these clubs much because I would be broke if I did. Every once in a great while I'll have a night out like that. I'm sure the mafia run clubs in the United Startes also not just Europe.
