Episode 5 "The Chicken Episode"

Description: Ryan and Aaron recap their thoughts on the preseason finale against the Baltimore Ravens as well as discuss what it means now that the Falcons have gone winless on their exhibition schedule. And Reynolds is not a wrap. Why cant he seal the interior? He kept his man in front of him, but he still looked weak. Just a badass Chi D or a preview of things to come?

Speaking of wrapping up ungainly beasts, I was somewhat OK with Biermann's play. He still has trouble getting his prey to the ground. Not much of a 'rush'..But he still has 'awareness', and no one is expecting him to go all Patrick Kearney on us. Just as long as he doesnt go all Patrick Dempsey on us. Do you think he will improve, stay the same, or get worse?

As far as pizza; Res judicata. Clearly, a meat pizza would require the imprisonment and wrongful termination of any number of animals that could be used for the better good. A 'true' communist pizza would most assuredly result in an unholy mix of soy, tofu and 'imitation' meats so prevelant in our prisons, and in our commissaries around Federal and Military institutions. Pat Y of ESPN recently wrote that Matt Ryan has already reached his ceiling do you agree, why or why not?

The Falcons, for ,well as long as I can remeber have not been a big screen team. Why don't the falcons use the screen pass more in the offense?

Why are even NFL analysist so stupid as to call an "end around" play a "reverse?"

We have not seen many gadget plays from the falcons in the past year, any guess why?

Does Ryan really believe that the falcons would dump both coordinators in the middle of the season after they went 13-3 last year and if so, does he know anything about football, the football business, or is he just pulling it out of his ass?

Description: Aaron and Ryan are back to discuss more Atlanta Falcons football. This week, they discuss some of the issues that plagued the Falcons offense and defense during the team's loss to the Green Bay Packers, which Aaron compares to getting a prostate exam. They also get into what they expect with Julio Jones being injured as the Falcons take on the Carolina Panthers. This game could be a litmus test to the Falcons playoff chances and whether Cam Newton's rookie season stacks up against that of Matt Ryan. The bulk of their discussion this week however centers on the Falcons draft picks under Thomas Dimitroff and whether they have been all that they're cracked up to be. They go through every pick. Is Jack Del Rio a viable candidate for D coordinator next year? Should we look at new coordinators if we are one and out or not make the playoffs? What do you think should be the defining point for new coordinators if you were Smitty? (Not make playoffs, one and done, not make championship game, not win Super Bowl, etc).

Are the fans the only ones seeing we have a big hole in our pass coverage in the middle at the 8-10 yard point and to TEs? Coincidentally, this also seems Lofton's zone. Why don't they give him more help or have someone else there on 3rd and 8-10?

Description: Ryan and Aaron are back after a long lay-off to talk about the Atlanta Falcons chances down the stretch as they chase a wildcard spot in the NFC. A lot of frustration has been building in the weeks since they last got together to talk Falcons football, and in this extended episode they vent much of it. Topics of discussion are the recent loss to the Houston Texans as well as some of their expectations for the team's upcoming game against the Carolina Panthers. Both wonder if the Falcons, particularly their offense is ready to take the next step forward. They discuss whether there should be a change at the running position, and whether certain veteran players including a Pro Bowl wide receiver might potentially be on the trading block after the season. They discuss whether the Falcons coaches are doing everything they can to get this team playing their best as the postseason looms. Aaron gives his typical rants about Peria Jerry and Reggie Kelly, and Ryan voices his displeasure over many of the moves the Falcons have made in recent off-seasons. Both ponder whether the Falcons problems stem from them having too many weapons.
