Well it's going to depend mostly on who they get as announcers, because it is the announcers that make or break the game IMO rather than the network itself.
I hope ESPN does not keep Theismann, McGuire, and Patrick on as their MNF announcers. Theismann and Patrick are okay. I only like Theismann because he's a QB guy and usually does a good job in evaluating those guys (but only those guys). McGuire is a complete idiot. Patrick is okay as a play by play guy, but he lets Theismann/McGuire control the telecast a bit too much for my tastes. If they could snag Michaels & Madden, it would be much better. I'm not a huge fan of John "I love everything Brett Favre does" Madden, but he's better than the ESPN's top alternative.
I assume NBC will have Costas involved, which I think is good, because I think Costas is great.
We'll see, I don't think this is going to affect the Falcons too much, at least in the mean time since we won't know how many of these games we'll get in 2006. If we have another solid year, I could see us getting at least 2 primetime games, but we'd really have to repeat (or improve upon) last year's results, if we want to see 5 again.
