Thus far through 2 weeks, Brown has recorded 6 tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 special teams tackles. This past week he earned NFLE Defensive Player honors.

Brown might actually have a decent chance of makign the roster if he continues to play like he has. Considering the lack of proven depth we have at OLB, it means it pretty much becomes anybody's position. The thing that will potentially hurt Brown the most however is if the Falcons re-sign guys like Artie Ulmer and Eric Johnson. Since both are proven ST guys, it will be hard for Brown to take a spot from them, since it will be special teams that will be the main criteria for who makes the roster.

Now that Beck and Boley have essentially been drafted to replace Ulmer and Johnson, it's going to be especially tough but there's no rule that says we can't carry 8 LB's. Afterall, New England carried 12 last year and won the Super Bowl...
