I've been working on code to help diagram offenses and defenses. Yes, this is a big deal if you're trying to blog football.

I prefer the first one. Far more intuitive in trying to figure out the different positions/roles.

I like the first one as well, but add the position letter inside the triangles and you accomplished both.

This is pretty neat, do you own a company or something that you're working on it?? I would have thought these would have already existed in some fashion.

I prefer the second one because it lets me know a safety is covering the slot, and not a thirdbacker. To me it's just more informative and would be easier to teach if you were coaching. Either way good luck in your endeavour.
