I thought the report from Jay Glazer on the FOX Sunday pre-game show was interesting. We know some of the players were not fond of Vick. But according to Glazer the entire roster not just disliked but hated Vick. Additionally some players had started a pool for which quarter would Vick fake an injury.

If true this is incredibly revealing.

The Ewing Theory is in full effect.

Yep...heard that too. I don't know that the entire team hated him, but I definitely got the feeling all was not well in that locker room between Vick and the others.

Not tooting my horn, but i said this years ago. Human nature is evident in locker rooms, just as it is everywhere else.

BirdBrain - I always enjoy how you say, "not tooting my own horn"...and then you toot your own horn.

Or

"not to pat myself on the back"...then you pat yourself on the back.

Just an observation...

He just told you the truth, BB. I missed the report but, in all fairness, BB often spoke of thinking the locker room was divided. According to the report I guess there was Vick and then the rest of the team. I suspect that is a bit revisionistic by Glazer as now all things Vick are like all things Trotsky once he fell out of favor but not many folks like a teacher's pet and Mike was clearly that.

Well, if today's performance shoed anything, it is that there are some sub-par chumps on the team who have made a very good living quietly benefitting from the spotlight Vick attracted that kept them well under the RADAR. While everyone focused on Vick and his "shortcomings", only a select few noted how truly IMPOTENT certain other high-dollar players on the team truly are.

I'll bet s the season wears on, and we see more and more 50-yd rushing days from our friendly neighborhood Pill Bug "feature back" a few more folks will begin to notice, "hey this guy SUCKS!"

Lucky for him he has totally changed his blocking style of late -- I haven't seen him do his little worthless cut-block against a rushing LB yet. But that is what he did ALL THE TIME when MV7 was there taking all the heat.

Let's see how everyone uses the various euphemisms to say "Dunn Sucks" now that is crap is out in the open.

Watch as he comes in every series whe nthe team gets to the oppponents 40 yard line, just in time to kill the drive from there.

Yup. Vick really "divided" the team. The defense played well -- which wasn't even vick's unit. But Captain Gandy and "leader/philanthropist" Dunn killed the team today.

Birdy is right on Gandy (*insert miracle music here*), but I will give Dunn a pass this week since he went against the number 1 rush defense. I guess he did not see Norwood ball up to avoid the hit.

Not sure why they kept trying to run up the gut against those two monster tackles. They seemed to have some success on the outside.

The vikes had the #1 Rush defense in football, and it has improved. LT would be hard pressed to run up the middle. One again your true colors come through. Dunn didn't kill the team today, it was the "Vickesque" performance that did...we lost to a very good defense...

BTW, today was six years to the day that Vick made his NFL debut in SF. I would liek to read a transcript of glazer's report. Anybody have a link?

It is a long season BNB....i try to keep things in perspective, but they did look great last night. Not sure though if it was that VT was just flailing due to the surroundings or we are 40 points better.

They looked good last year too. I said then (toot toot) that they were really better than Florida even though Florida won it all. Those two are the class of the conference right now...with my nod going to LSU.

I'm just happy that GA lost....everytime they lose I get a nice warm feeling inside.

I hate to toot any horn like BB does. The horn he toots isn't circumcised to begin with.

Everyone's an expert and everyone is wrong from time to time.

Good grief,...the last post in this thread that had anything of value was the lawyer's post,...that's when ya know things have gotten bad.

This college football talk is childish and is just disruptive to a Falcons forum, imo.

Trying to assess the game a little at a time and post and we get posts about college football. I'll just post it at my site,...and come to think of it,...my post would be attacked by Hitler any ways.

isn't this forum here for just sort of everything? This is the most anal retentive site I've ever been on as far as topical relevance. Jesus, we're just going back and forth in real time a little...not trying to write the next great work of literature. Have a Coke and a smile, PB.

http://www.dumbass.com is where you belong..if you don't like it here PLEASE leave. You try to be so disruptive, but you end up just looking like an immature pathetic child. No one asked you to post in this thread, so hop on your tricycle and motor on home.
