Whalburg played sandlot football and was alot of us loved his team so much he decided to tryout. If you go and see this you can see why eagle fans are the way they are nasty, die hard fans who will bad mouth any one trying to beat there team. I enjoyed the movie alot probably because he was an underdog in everything and his wife left him thinking he would never amount to anything, you'll never be anything.and you won't do anything in life.He lost his job at the school he was teaching at and was on tough times until the open tryout.
His friends a few were unemployed going through tough times as well and there hopes were with there friend palpale. If your a football fan you need to see this movie about a guy over coming obstacles time after time yet never gave up.
