If you don't know who Eric LeGrand is, he's the Rutgers player that was paralyzed a few years ago that really kicked into high gear the player safety measures the NFL has been going through (alongside former Bills TE Kevin Everett).http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/01/eric-le ... ng-injury/

Eric LeGrand can add another accomplishment to his long list: Diploma.
The former Rutgers football player who was paralyzed during a 2010 game received his diploma this week.
LeGrand told Scout.com that he was 60 credits short of graduation at the time of his injury. He was a labor studies major at the school of Arts and Sciences.
“Thank you for the congratulations on finishing my degree at Rutgers,” he tweeted. “Definitely has been a journey since I got hurt but I did it.”
LeGrand told Scout.com that he wasn’t sure a lot of people even knew he hadn’t already graduated. “I’ve been in school this entire time since January of 2011. It’s been six years and it’s been a journey since I got hurt. I made sure I got it done.”
In that time, LeGrand has also been drafted to the NFL by his former coach Greg Schiano, started a career doing color commentary on games, written a book and much more.
