I guess it must have been in 2002 or late 2001 after the terrorist attacks I wrote a letter to the AJC mentioning that the nationalism and saber rattling and general national zeitgeist reminded me of Germany pre-Poland invasion in 1939 or something along those lines. Anyway, it gets printed and shortly thereafter I began receiving publications and communications from the American Communist Party. They made reference to the letter to the paper which had my full name and from that they tracked me down and mailed to my street address. It felt really creepy. I always wonder if it was them or the FBI spooks fishing for turrorists.
