Academy Awards Time Pick the Winners

Postby thescout » Mon Feb 21, 2011 10:16 pm

Best Film
Best actor/actress
Best Supporting Actor/Actress

I think King's Speech is going to do very well.

Best film - Kings Speech
Best Actor - Colin Firth
Best Actress - Natalie Portman
Best Supporting Actor - dude that played the therapist in King's Speech
Best Supporting actress - the girl that played in True Grit

Sorry I'm thinking this off the top of my head but will put the names down soon. I thought 2010 was a weak year for movies. I saw on 60 minutes they did a segment on the research behind the King's Speech and you can see the actual documents at 60 minutes.com. One of the documents they showed on 60 minutes had all many words marked out and added words to make it easier for the King to pronounce them. Also certain marrks were etched in to give emphasis on certain words.

Lets not think to hard out there for the awards. I know we have plenty of movie fans and of course most will turn in their predictions after the awards and say their right.
