Sherlock Homes Movie Saw It

Postby thescout » Sun Jan 24, 2010 12:01 am

I was really wanting to see the Sherlock Holmes movie and did tonight. I heard a few people saying they liked it and with Robert Downey Jr in it thought it would be good. After seeing the movie its a bit different.I don't know between the accent Downey and Jude Law used and the plot it just didn't work for me. I would rent this movie instead of wasting money on seeing it on the big screen.

I thought the sets were great. I'm usually not too big on special effects but those were good. Loved old London and I generally like anything Downey does. Great timing and delivery. His accent was a bit hard to pick up at times. I also found this to be true in Tropic Thunder.

I don't know BnB but I would have rather seen a number of other movies than this one. I didn't think the plot was all that.
