Hey guys, the illustrious Pudge has given me permission to plug my first novel, which came out last month. The publisher is Harpercollins. It's a southern gothic/coming of age story entitled "Wait Until Twilight".
It can be found on amazon and every other online bookseller as well as most major bookstores in the US.

Thanks man! It was a loooong hard road....I now cannot recommend fiction writing as a vocation!

I might check it out. It's not my usual genre (sci-fi, fantasy, or historical fiction), but I'm looking for something to read between now and January when the next Bernard Cornwell novel comes out, so you might get some feedback in the coming months.

That's great, man. I've always thought about writing a book of some sort but...well, I'm a lazy SOB. Quite an accomplishment. Sounds vaguely Flannery O'Conner-ish?

Thanks! Yeah, laziness will squelch any writing endeavor very quickly. The best motivation I think is desperation. And you're absolutely right about the Flannery connection. I'm a big fan of hers and I've included some of that darkness and violence she has in her stuff.
