Leave Kayne Alone

Postby Emmitt » Mon Sep 14, 2009 4:32 pm

For all the people that watched the VMAS ( I didn't) and saw Taylor Swift get embrassed should be quiet. I was watching the Bears Packers and I see like 40 people's facebook status saying what is Kayne doing? I don't no if you guys follow it, but I think it wasn't that bad. Kayne can't use the excuse of being drunk, because he apologized after, but I think he should be forgiven. I didn't know who Taylor Swift was. I don't listen to the radio, I hate country, I hate most big time stars. I like underground and main stream hip-hop with some rock as well ( rage against the machine, system of down, tool etc). I thought Taylor Swift was a guy, but I guess I was wrong. I am not a Kayne fan, I think his new stuff is garbage compared to his old stuff such as college dropout. I just think people should leave him alone.

My Take: I'll take it into consideration. Right now I'm leaning towards burning all of his CD's.

If I had any.

You know after the passing of my dad things like celeb gossip, who is doing what and who is raising a ruckess and the media loving it, who cares. These people don't live in the real world and there are plenty more important things in life to think about.

These people would be nothing without the public and they should put their best foot forward instead of more bullshit from Kanye West and other celebs who love being in the spot light.

I didn't see the incident, and only heard about it a few hours ago. BUt I'm already going to judge Kanye.

This isn't the first time his ego has gotten in his way. The guy is a jerk and a d-bag and his only saving grace is that he makes good music. Every award show he does this. He whined like a little girl a few years back when MTV chose Britany Spears to perform over him. He whined like a girl at some European award show when he didn't win as many awards as he thought he should.

It's rare for any artist to be around 5,10 + years in the music business. West believes the world revolves around him just a sign of immaturity and I hope he grows up. I don't think he'll be around in 5 years at least in the music business. I can remember so many hear to today gone tomorrow singers West is another one not that special to stand the test of time.

Kanye has already been around for 5 or 6 years, and he'll easily last another 5. But he's a jerk and eventually his act will wear then, but I don't think it'll be now. This was his most public display of douchebaggery, but he'll survive it. He'll lay low for a while, and then he'll have a hit song in a couple of months, and most people will forget about this...at least the people that buy the album/single.

He's a glorifiied Karoyke singer, every song he has is an old song with more bass and slightly different lyrics. As far as the VMA's who gives a s***, they are made for 13 year girls

I'm saying another 5 years after this incident at best.People's taste change and very few singers adapt.

I hate Kayne, but I think this is overhyped. I hate country music, so maybe I don't feel the same way others do.

Have you no shame fun gus?

I take it Waz you are no fan of hip hop. I think Kanye's going to have longer staying power than "just" 5 years scout. His role as producer alone will keep him relevant for that time alone. He can be successful for 12-15 years if not longer.

I was thinking in terms as a hip hop artist being the man in front.
