OK you movie critics I am going to start a thread on upcoming movies. The goal of the thread is to predict which movies are going to be great,good,average or bad before they come out. Your Nostradamus and your crystal ball gives you insite on if a movie is a clunker or a good one to see.I am going to be discriminatory and use yahoo user reviews to decide the final grade. I am willing to change the rating but for me the following is what I consider great, good,average or bad. You don't have to predict the grade only if it's great,good,average or bad but if you want add the grade into your prediction. Feel free to add any movie and prediction before it comes out.

1. Great - these are movies that are exceptional for example Gladiator,Batman Returns,Transformers 1,Forrest Gump. The grade would be A or A+.
2.Good - these are movies that while good have a minor imperfection that doesn't quite make it to a superior rating.
The grade is A-,B+,B,B- rating.
3.Average - movies like Scary movie, most of the Jason movies and the grade is C+,C.
4.Bad - these are terrible movies you might walk out on and the grade is C- to F.

The first movie that I'll predict is Funny People, the new Adam Sandler movie coming out Friday. I'll predict its a good movie with a grade of B+.

Yahoo users have The Proposal with an A- rating which is good. Do you disagree Pudge and call it great? I am predicting Julie & Julia will be an A- also. Perfect Getaway not familiar with but I'll do some checking. I have the perfect film for you P udge its called Astroboy. I think it's your kind of movie one to pay $9.00 dollars for. :lol:

I certainly wouldn't put Transformers 2 or The Proposal in the great category. Very few movies make an A or A+ which is what I believe is great. I am curious to see what Inglorious Bastards grades out. Usually P itt does very well so I' probably give is a A- rating.

I was thinking about the grade scale and think some changes are needed. Here are my thoughts on the grade scale for movies.

A, A+ = great movie
A-,B+,B = very good to good movie
B-,C+,C =above average to average
C-,D+,D,D- =below average
F = I want my money back

Today we see mostly very good to good movies the best we can hope for. Some movies just don't click but there are certain parts that are good or memorable and those belong in the B-,C+,C- category.Other movies barely keep you interested those are the C-,D+,D- category.. Finally movies you want to walk out on those are F movies.
