Ever wonder why they invented makeup for women?

For off-topic and non-football related topics such as life, TV, movies, women, video games, etc. If you want to talk other sports, such as MLB, NBA, soccer, etc. this is also the right place.

Postby thescout » Fri Aug 09, 2013 9:43 pm

I saw this on another forum and about s*** my pants. Ill I have to say is I'm glad they invented makeup. Here are a number of pornstars without their makeup and just wow. Those I thought were attractive without makeup who the $%$%% is that? I may never watch porn again after seeing these women. Just goes to show there are few beauties in the world without makeup.

So I see Pudge this topic already covered. Hard to keep up on the news when I'm on the other side of the world. I've seen a few movies of Puma Suede and always thought she was pretty good looking. After seeing these pics beware who you fantasize about it might be the creature from the black lagoon.

Meh. Plastic and artifice rule. Most of the ones who are marginally attractive look so with or without makeup and vice versa. I wonder how many coats of Kilz they have to apply before going with the top coats? I have a daughter who has spent thousands of hours caking on makeup, dying her hair and all that silly stuff and guys are lined up like lemmings to date her. Sadly, when her youthful beauty fades and she really "needs" make up she will be trying to get back to her "natural" appearance. Ah youth...wasted on the young.

I preferred half of them without make up, of course I prefer the natural girl next door look.

As the misogynists say, it's all the same in the dark.

That guy is great. I had never heard of him before you posted that thing a while back. Watched a few of his specials on Netflix. I laughed...hard.

Yeah, after Louis C.K., he's widely considered to be among the next tier of today's top comics.

I first saw him on Chappelle Show years ago, then saw a couple of his standup specials over the past few years.

He's also played a bit part in Breaking Bad.

Louis CK seems like a college professor at the bar trying to be cute to me. Burr seems more fearless and makes the audience more uncomfortable. I read a quote from Peter Ustinov today that said, "Comedy is simply a funny way of being serious." I liked that.

Louis may have peaked 2 years ago, I don't know. He's done 3 seasons of his TV show, and took this summer off (would've been Season 4). I thought the 2nd season was the best one, a perfect blend of darkness and humor. But I thought Season 3 was a lot less on the funny and more on the darkness. Which is fine, but IMO a step back.

His most recent HBO special I thought was pretty good, although by no means a classic. I thought the previous one he did (that he released exclusively online) was actually fair meh.

So at least from my eyes/ears, Louis was at the top of his game in 2011.

I guess I'm really not that familiar with him. I've seen bits and pieces here and there. I watched one of his stand ups on Netflix. I think it may have been at the Beacon Theater. It was Ok. I guess his delivery seems a little flaccid to me. He wasn't bad. There are so many truly bad comics out there now. You watch about three minutes of their act and you want to can hardly muster a laugh. In all fairness, it would be one of the worst occupations I can possibly think of. Much harder than it looks.
