Andy Dittbenner 6-1/205 Northern Illinois 4.92 Senior
Pros: Has a nice strong leg and gets decent hang time on his kicks.
Cons: Needs to improve as a directional kicker. Is inconsistent and has too many line drives.
Overview: Has a good enough leg to stick in the NFL, but is too inconsistent to like his immediate prospects.
NFL Forecast: Dittbenner won't be able to do much initially in the league, but worth developing down the road. He doesn't have a big, booming leg, and will need to improve his accuracy to stick at the next level. Give him a few years working in a lesser league or in kicking camps, and two or three years down the road he might be a decent punter. But he'll be one of those journeyman, that I don't think will have the production and leg to really stick long-term.
ATL Forecast: He could get a look in Atlanta, but not really likely to get a really serious look. He's just an extra leg and probably lacks the ability to present even a minor challenge for Koenen.
Value: He's worth bringing to camp as an extra leg, but at this point is a marginal NFL prospect.
