Justin Brantly 6-3/247 Texas A&M Senior
Pros: Has a good strong leg that gets good hang time.
Cons: Tends to out kick his coverage a bit too often. Also needs to improve his directional kicking on the short field.
Overview: Also works as a holder. He has an NFL leg, but has yet to develop accuracy for the NFL level yet.
NFL Forecast: Brantly can come in and push guys right away, but I doubt he sticks as a rookie, unless teams really only focus on his leg strength and potential. He's probably two or three years away from developing as a directional punter. But if he does improve, he would be a nice NFL punter. Probably not great, but solid.
ATL Forecast: It's doubtful he could beat out Koenen, but he could be a bit more of a challenger in a dome environment. He could push for a role on the practice squad at best, but more than anything he'd be a guy that could push Koenen, rather than unseat him.
Value: I would not draft him, but he's definitely worthy of a camp invite for some team.
