Jake Richardson 6-0/205 Miami OH 4.84 Senior
Pros: Has a strong leg and shows good potential as a placement punter on coffin corners. Cons: Will out kick his coverage at times.
Overview: A solid kicker that has a good strong leg and potential as a directional punter. Averaged over 45 yards per punt the past two years.
NFL Forecast: Richardson could stick right away in the league mainly because of his leg. HE won't have a big impact and will need a few years to develop. But a team that wants to develop a young punter might make sense to pick him up. He has the potential to stick for a long time and be one of the better punts in the league.
ATL Forecast: Richardson is not much of a kickoff guy so he won't really be a factor in Atlanta this year, but he could push Koenen and would be a decent insurance policy on the practice squad. More than likely, another team would pick him up during the season.
Value: He's a borderline draftable prospect. You'd try to get him in undrafted free agency however.
