A.J. Trapasso 6-0/228 Ohio State Senior
Pros: Has a strong leg and can boom some kicks. Shows potential for nice hang time, placement and can force fair catches.
Cons: Accuracy and directional kicker can be inconsistent. Often out kicks his coverage.
Overview: Trapasso has a big leg that needs to be more accurate and consistent as a directional punter. But has potential there.
NFL Forecast: He's a bit too raw and inconsistent to probably contribute right away. But you like his leg and he'll get opportunities because of it. Give him a year or two to develop and he should be able to stick in the NFL. May not be a great punter in the long run, but could be a capable player that could stick for several years.
ATL Forecast: Trapasso has the leg that you like to see, but lacks experience kicking off and is too raw to really challenge Koenen. Instead, he might be a nice developmental player to keep on the back burner down the road on the practice squad.
Value: He's not worth a draft pick, but some team should definitely bring him to camp.
