Quinton Moore
5-10/187 Oklahoma State
4.50 Senior

Pros: Is active in run support with a nose for the ball and nice range. Is a capable tackler with some pop and can come up and deliver hit. Does a nice job wrapping. Has good burst and decent ball skills.

Cons: Undersized and misses a lot of stops in the open field. Doesn't break down well at the point of attack, takes poor angles at times, and lack of size can get him run over. Struggles in coverage because he lacks awareness and instincts in zone coverage. Gets caught out of position and lets receivers get behind him. Has poor hips and can't match up in man.

Overview: If he was a 20 pounds heavier, he'd be a solid, consistent run stopper. Listed as a free safety, but plays more like a strong safety. Senior year was only season as a full-time starter.

NFL Forecast: If Moore can bulk up, he can make a nice run stopper at safety. But I doubt he ever progresses in coverage to a point where he's competent enough to start. Instead, Moore is likely going to have to impact on special teams to stick in the NFL. To make an impact on defense even as just a backup, he needs to bulk up. If he proves to be a strong special teams player he could play five or so years in the league. If he doesn't, then he'll be gone within two and will have to try his hand at a lower level.

ATL Forecast: Moore could add depth at safety for the Falcons, but unless he proves to be a strong special teams performer, he doesn't really anything to the lineup. He can land a practice squad job or a role as the fourth safety, but that's about it. And his potential to move up the depth chart down the road is small.

Value: Moore might be able to make a roster as a reserve, but he shouldn't be drafted.
