Wopamo Osaisai
5-10/201 Stanford
4.44 Senior

Pros: Has nice speed and decent hips. Does a good job staying with his assignment and also does a nice job keeping things in front of him. Is willing in run support to stick his nose in there.

Cons: Is not a good tackler and is more a drag-down guy that struggles to get off blocks and make stops on the edge. Has trouble defending slants because of subpar burst and hips. Lacks ball skills and gets turned around too often when defending the deep ball.

Overview: Would be labeled “effective” in my book. Is a track guy that set Stanford school record in 100m with 10.39 in 2005, but doesn’t really translate to the field. Only his senior year was he a full-time starter, and finished career with only 2 interceptions and 23 pass breakups. Earned All-Pac 10 honors as a sophomore for his special teams prowess. Name pronounced “Woe-Pamo O-Sigh-Sigh.”

NFL Forecast: Could work in a zone scheme probably more so than man scheme. But won't be anything more than a decent backup player. Will have to play early on special teams in order to stick. If he does that, then he can last some time in the NFL. He's not an impact player and in a zone-heavy scheme, might make a decent third or fourth corner, but not the ideal candidate in that role. Can provide depth at the next level, but that's really about it.

ATL Forecast: He could push Irons for his roster spot as the fifth and primarily special teams corner, but beyond that, it's doubtful he makes an significant impact in Atlanta. Could eventually push for the fourth corner spot in a year or two, but not really going to do much beyond that since you can expect the Falcons will add someone better in the meantime. More of a body that anything in Atlanta.

Value: Could be worth a seventh round pick for some teams, but anything before that is a reach.
