Adrian Grady
6-1/298 Louisville
5.25 Senior

Pros: He has nice strength and potential to play in the 1-gap scheme. Will fight through double teams and is decent at getting off blocks. Has a decent motor and first step.

Cons: Not a pass rusher and needs to be more consistent when it comes to getting off blocks at the point of attack. Durability is an issue.

Overview: Grady plays both the nose and 3-technique, but predominantly the latter. He projects to the nose in the pros. He doesn't do anything very well, but is mainly worth a look because of his size. Missed 5 games as a sophomore due to broken leg, and 7 games as a junior due to torn pec. Missed a game as a senior for academic reasons. Went to high school in Douglas, GA and will turn 25 in July.

NFL Forecast: Grady could be a nice backup nose tackle in the 3-4 scheme. He's worth developing some there. I doubt he's ever going to be a starter. He just doesn't have the great strength or athleticism that you like his potential there. But he's a guy that can spell a guy for 10 or 15 snaps per game. He doesn't quite fit in the 4-3 scheme because he's not quick enough off the snap, but could be a decent two-gap rotation player in that scheme down the road. Grady is good enough to make an NFL roster, but don't expect him to be an impact player or even reserve.

ATL Forecast: Grady has size you like to help the Falcons rotation. But it's doubtful that he'll be a significant boost to the rotation. He's good enough to challenge for a roster spot, but he's probably not even going to be as good as Montavious Stanley was here in Atlanta.

Value: He's not worth drafting, but could make someone's teach as an undrafted free agent.
