George Hypolite
6-1/299 Colorado
5.04 Senior

Pros: Has nice quickness and a decent first step. A nice penetrator that uses his first step well at times to get leverage vs. the run. Has a nice bull rush and swim move. Has a good motor.

Cons: Lacks size and strength, and gets pushed around way too much at the point of attack. Struggles against double teams.

Overview: He's mostly a disruptor that fits well at the 3-technique in the 4-3. A three-year starter that produced 31 tackles for loss and 12.5 sacks in that span. His last name is pronounced Hip-Puh-Light.

NFL Forecast: He's a guy that can help a rotation, and perhaps down the road become a decent starter. But he'd be average at best as a starter and that's probably at least four or five years off. Instead, pick him up to bolster your rotation and help out on passing downs. He doesn't really have the frame to get that much bigger, so he'll probably never be a great run stopper. But if he can learn how to get better leverage, he could be adequate. I don't see him becoming a star, but could be a nice third tackle for some 4-3 team. Also could potentially play a bit in the 3-4 at end, but he would just be average there.

ATL Forecast: Hypolite would bolster the Falcons rotation and gives us a capable backup behind Babineaux. Wouldn't really be a threat to take over a starting position but could develop give the team 20-25 good snaps per game. Not sure he's a long term option, but would be a capable and valuable reserve.

Value: He's a late round pick that can help a team's rotation. Don't take him before the sixth round.
