Anthony Parker
6-2/290 Tennessee
5.08 Senior

Pros: Shows nice pop off the snap and gets good position as a run blocker. Shows decent footwork and hand use in pass protection. Has mobility to be effective blocking at the second level.

Cons: Doesn't really excel anywhere. Lacks size and is not going to be an effective drive blocker. Needs to polish up technique in pass protection. Will whiff on blocks, and has trouble with quicker defensive tackles.

Overview: Parker is a capable player that offers some versatility to play multiple positions inside. Started off as a center at Tennessee, but moved to guard as a sophomore. Started at both guard spots this past year. Both his sophomore and junior campaigns were ended with knee injuries. Was cited for disorderly conduct prior to his senior year.

NFL Forecast: He's undersized as a guard and could be an effective position blocker there, but NFL teams would be smart to explore his potential to move back to center. He could be an effective guard, but doesn't have great upside. He plays bigger than his size would indicate, but he's never going to be a dominant player. Has more upside at center, and would be a guy that is at the least a nice utility backup that can play all three interior spots.

ATL Forecast: Parker could be a nice center prospect for the Falcons that would probably need two or so years to readjust to the center spot before he can really be expected to start. But he has starting potential, and in the mean time would be a nice backup guard. Doesn't really have the ideal upside to start there and would just be a stopgap at best.

Value: Has upside as a center, but is a late round prospect. But he'd make a solid fifth or sixth round pick.
