Marko Mitchell 6-4/213 Nevada 4.49 Senior
Pros: Has good size. Gets a nice release showing some good speed and quickness. Does a nice job securing ball before turning upfield and is decent after the catch because of his size. Is a capable blocker because of his size and gets it done downfield.
Cons: Drops too many passes and body catches. Lacks quickness to consistently get separation and needs refinement as a route runner. Not as good in traffic as his size would merit. Probably needs to get stronger.
Overview: He's not a playmaker that will get looks in the pros because of his size. Spent a year at a JUCO before coming to Nevada. Productive in Nevada's pistol offense.
NFL Forecast: He doesn't have a ton of upside, and probably will need to excel on special teams to last in the league. Could be a decent fourth option for a team, but unless he really improves as a route runner, I doubt he becomes a third option. He needs polish and needs to use his good combo of size and speed to his advantage more often. If he does this, he'll be a decent backup for a team. If he doesn't, then he'll struggle to stick.
ATL Forecast: If he can play well on special teams, he has a chance to replace finneran in a few years. But he's probably at least three years away from contributing. And even then, he's probably only a 20-catch guy at best working off the bench. Could add some depth in Atlanta, but won't be a major factor offensively.
Value: A team that likes his size and willing to work with him, could draft him late in the seventh.
