Woodley seems to be dropping in the draft

Postby thescout » Thu Dec 07, 2006 2:03 am

Now I know its way to early about the draft but I have been noticing that lamarr woodley has been dropping in the draft such as out of the first round.Anyone know why? I may have to rethink on the first pick it just maybe reggie nelson or laron landry. If you had to compare the 2 what are the pros and cons of both?

Maybe Schaub gets traded for a high no2 pick and woodley will be there?

1st Nelson/landry
2. woodley
2,off lineman
3.off lineman
4.corner
5.def tackle

Oh well food for thought.
Sometimes running the Mularkey offense makes me feel like I'm in a prison.

I think a lot of stems from him not having a big day against OSU. Because all indications prior to that game seemed to say he was rising. But since that game, I've seen much of the same things you did.

He wasn't great in the game, but I don't htink he had a bad game. I thought he hurried Smith a few times. I know in that game he had 4 assisted tackles and 1 fumble recovery.

If he has a big game against USC, then I'm sure his stock is going to go back up again.

I think he or Purdue's Anthony Spencer have the chance to be the first 3-4 OLBs drafted this year.
