http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.co ... ms-to-nfl/Another non-surprise. Williams is a prospect I like because I really like his upside. He has a long, lean build, but he shines as a press and bump n' run corner. Good, smooth hips with good speed and can match up in man coverage. I don't think he has elite ball skills. He didn't have any picks this year, but he saw his PDs increase from 9 to 12, and I think it had more to do with teams not wanting to challenge him.
He plays both outside and works the slot in the nickel. Probably the easiest comparison to make is Quentin Jammer, although Jammer has about 15 pounds of muscle on Williams.
I think he would fit well in Atlanta because he can slide in immediately as the slot corner and No. 3 guy. He shows willingness in run support and I think would mesh well with the blue collar attitude of Robinson and Grimes. And I think eventually with a year or two under his belt, we could use him interchangeably with Robinson & Grimes, kind of like what the Jets do with Revis & Cromartie, and try to capitalize on the best matchups.
