Interesting Pudge. I don't think we would take a TE in round two, but anything is possible. I think we go offense in round one and defense in round 2-3.

I was sitting there BB and thinking about who the Falcons would take. And I was looking over the roster and there aren't really any glaring needs.

I was thinking WR maybe in Round 1, someone like USC's Ronald Johnson. I was also thinkIng DE, but this isn't a very deep class, and nobody really stood out as the Falcons kind of player. And then I realize Bruce Carter was still available, and while I don't think he fills a huge need, I do think he's a player that will probably be a 1st round pick, so it's more a marriage of convenience.

I went TE in Round 2, just because Gonzo may retire. I think it's about 30/70 at this point, but who knows what develops by the end of the year.

Interesting draft for the Falcon's Pudge. Carter as the Falcon's 1st rounder? How good is he compared to Spoon? We'll have to hope someone slides since it seems no one jumps off at the page come the Falcon's pick. You don't think off tackle will be a need or there won't be as good quality at the Falcon's first rounder? Is Carter better than any of the off tackles? We still need playmakers so I'll take whoever is a playmaker and can get the job done eventually at a high level.

Tight end round 2? Gonzo seems like the kind of guy who would let the organization know well in advance say a year before he lets everyone know he's retiring. I think one of the 1st two picks will be offense and if Jenkins does well I think we go another position on offense(off line, running back) unless someone jumps off at the page and it would be hard to pass on a player. Sure wish there was another Macklin or D Jackson in this draft.Philly for years has had problems with receiver now they have two jets that can hit home runs anytime.
