We may not get an opportunity to get him, since I suspect the Eagles may look really hard at him at #14. Bunkley would be a good player, but it would be hard to justify that pick when the team has such glaring needs elsewhere. Bunkley is not a run stopper and his natural weight is probably in the 280-290 range. He's also had a lot of leg injuries throughout his career, which probably means if he plays at 305 that will continue.
He's definitely the top pure 4-3 DT in this draft, but he's not such a force that I would go after him in Round 1. Also note that DTs often have just as hard a time as WRs in adjusting to the NFL, because so many of them are out of shape and relied on athleticism rather than technique in college. Few DTs have big impacts as rookies. Most DTs don't really hit their stride in the NFL until Year 2 or 3.
