Who are some of the best speed backs in college this year that might come out for the draft? I noticed Noel Devine is a senior kind of small but has speed. He's only about 180 then again is 5 ft 8 so he isn't to skinny. What round will Devine probably go in? I think the Falcon's will use either a 1,2,3 on a back in April's draft and it might be nice to know who some of the possibilities are.

Can Devine field punts and kickoffs and if so how good is he?

Devine is a great kickoff returner. He's Dunn-esque, although after watching him in the Marshall game, I'm thinking he's more a 3rd/4th round pick because he's more like a Dexter McCluster than a C.J. Spiller. Some other players:

Shane Vereen (Cal)
Derrick Locke (kentucky)
Jacquizz Rodgers (Oregon St.)
Victor Anderson (Louisville)

Mcluster is exactly the type of player we need.Wish we had him but KC made a very good move getting him. Jamal Charles was taken in the 3rd round I believe another steal. If Devine lasted till the 3rd or 4th and is worth it take him. The Falcon's badly need a change of pace back for those defenses we faced like the Steelers although even Chris Johnson didn't do well yesterday.

The more looks you can give a defense the better. I was aware of Locke doesn't seem to have great stats despite his speed. The other players will have to keep an eye on.

Again, don't want to get into need, but I'm not sure we need that right now.

Depending on how Turner and Snelling finish the season, I would argue that getting a power back is a much bigger need than a speed back to push/replace Norwood.

It's just too early in the year to think need. 2 weeks into last year, Mike Peterson was playing great, and Peria Jerry had not gotten hurt, and Chris Houston had just made a game-winning INT which many thought could have been him turning a corner. You could have guessed, but it would have been a complete shot in the dark that our three biggest additions the following off-season would have been at CB, OLB, and DT.
