Nice job never to early to look ahead.

Too true, I have been trying to do a better job of looking ahead and getting a feeling for guys who are younger so I know what to expect (to a degree) when I watch them more the next year. This is a nice list, good job Pudge. I'd come up with my own but it wouldn't be as good as this. lol

From the looks of it, Steuber's board seems like a very good starting point for next year. Although Jerrod Johnson is high. I just didn't see much from him this past year that differentiate him from being a better NFL prospect than either Jarrett Brown or Andre Woodson. He'll get a chance to prove me wrong though with a good senior year.

CB Rashad Carmichael, Virginia Tech (SR) Hokie corners are always on NFL radars, and if he continues to produce (6 INTs), then he’ll be hard to keep out of the first round.

He's gonna be hard to keep out of the first round then. Film junky, literally cut off his cable tv subscription so he could watch nothing but film in his free time (when have you ever heard that??). Also the fast player on the team. What will help him is they won't be able to play favorites (one side vs. the other) with Hoseley on the other side, so he'll still have pick opportunities.

You're probably right. I would have probably given him a late 2nd/3rd round grade had he entered this year's draft. Didn't think he was worth highlighting as much as the other 32 players.

But you never know with corners. Just look at the top guys according to NFL Draft Scout.com going into this past year:

Pos. Rank. (Overall Rank) Player (Projected Rd.) Actual Rd/Pick
1. (14th ovr) Patrick Robinson (1st) - 1st/32nd
2. (22nd) Syd'Quan Thompson (1st/2nd) - 7th/225th
3. (24th) Brandon Ghee (1st/2nd) - 3rd/96th
4. (27th) Trevard Lindley (2nd) - 4th/105th
5. (29th) Perrish Cox (2nd) - 5th/137th
6. (45th) Kyle Wilson (2nd/3rd) - 1st/29th
7. (50th) Jerome Murphy (2nd/3rd) - 3rd/65th
8. (56th) Myron Lewis (3rd) - 3rd/67th
9. (68th) Javier Arenas (3rd) - 2nd/50th
10. (71st) Walter Thurmond (3rd) - 4th/111th

I know, the Jr to Sr year projects almost get flipped upside down sometimes it seems. I don't know whether some think they've already made it, while others see the brass ring and work overtime to continue moving up. Either way you obv have to take these with more than one grain of salt.
