When to draft positions

Interesting in the sense that it indicates about roughly the average position of the average player at that position.

One way to interpret is that after a certain pick, the talent level at those particularly positions has a significant dropoff.

So you basically don't want to take a QB after Round 1. You don't want to take a ILB, CB, OT, WR, RB, or DE after Round 2. A TE, OLB, DT, or S after Round 3. And a OG after Round 4. And a OC after Round 6.

That's a pretty neat thing to look at. I was a bit surprised how low defensive ends and safeties are, and how high ILB's are.
