I predict Weatherspoon will be the Falcon's first rounder. I like him more than Graham but wouldn't be sad if we selected Graham either.

Predicting Morgan for us. But Weatherspoon is Option #2.

I would do cartwheels if Morgan slid to the Falcon's but I don't see it. I wonder who will have the better career Morgan or Graham? Weatherspoon I think can be coached up and with a good weight training program will get stronger which will help him get off blocks in the pros. I would like a def end but if Weatherspoon is the fall back option then I won't be upset. I think Spoon can be a pro bowler in the league.

I think that Spoon is our man. If he's gone, I hope that we go for Iupati. The DE's that will be available just seem like, "settle," guys. As in, with the 19th pick of the 2010 NFL draft, The Atlanta Falcons settle for <insert DE here.>

I don't think we would be "settling" for Grahm or Pierre-Paul, maybe if we reached for a consensus late first/early 2nd DE.

That being said, I would have no issue with taking a linemen like Pouncy at #19... its getting sort of obvious that we're looking to replace Mcclure in the near future (unless that is just a giant smokescreen)

In my mind, I see this as a decision based upon whatever the mindset is TD and Smith will have going into this draft. Are they really looking to fill needs or are they looking to get the best talent available? IMO, these will coincide to a degree as there will be high quality players in positions of need. If you just look at DE, OLB, and C, I would say DE would be most needed and C least necessary. Considering the names being offered up, I think Spoon and Pouncey are better players at their respective positions in relation to Graham at his. If we had a shot at Morgan, it would be a no-brainer. I don't think Graham makes as much an impact for us there as Spoon would at OLB or Pouncey would at C. If we then rate the need at OLB and C and their respective value at that position (say Pouncey is a 9 at C and Spoon is a 8 at OLB), eventually we come to a decision that one makes more sense than another. I believe OLB to be of greater need and the value Spoon is at that position to be more than Pouncey at C. I would say I'd pick Spoon if he was available at 19. If not, I'd consider taking Pouncey or moving back in the draft. McClure has been so solid for us for so many years that I don't know that it would be a good move yet. Spoon however can be a perfect replacement for Peterson who faded big time last season. If spoon isn't available, I'd go Graham or Pouncey.

Or you can just trade up for Morgan and take the thinking out of it. 8-)
