Tell me about Jerome Harrison.

I see some good things about him but the common theme between all the scouting reports is he dances around too much. (runs east/west)

Now the thing is, college coaches are supposed to get that out of your system so who would you blame for this? The coaches for not teaching it to him, or Harrison himself because he is either too dumb or he just doesnt care?

I have not seen him play even one game (except the Senior bowl)

You guys think we could grab him in round 3-4? Thanks

I actually got to see Jerome Harrison play against OSU in person. I really do liken him to a bigger version of Warrick Dunn (1" and 20lbs) who is tough between the tackles and explosive play potential. His cuts are just as deadly as Dunn's cuts are. WSU never used him enough in the passing game and I think he has the hands to be a threat from the backfield. I would call Harrinson quick with good acceleration and ability to switch directions without losing too much speed. Although his top speed is probably around a 4.5 I would imagine.

Other players similar to Harrinson: Warrick Dunn, Charlie Garner, Tiki Barber, Willie Parker, Brian Westbrook.

If we wanted to stay with a player nearly exactly like Warrick Dunn then Jerome Harrison would be the guy to draft this year. I don't think he goes higher than the 3rd round due to the NFL's stigma with small players. I don't see Harrison going lower than the 5th round and if Atlanta can get him in the 4th I think the value is there.

*I just noticed your "dance" note vickis. I would agree he dances a bit. I can think of a few times where he would hit the line with hesitation because the hole wasn't there. But the worst trait I saw was that he tried to make something out of nothing (which I like the call the Vick complex). Plenty of times in the OSU game Harrison would try to cut outside when nothing was there and get dropped for a loss instead of hitting the line for a short gain.

I've heard the Westbrook comparisons with Harrison.
