Pros: Is a decent blocker with some pop. Locates the defender well, and does a nice job blocking out on the edge. Has decent hands.
Cons: Not as physical as his size would merit. Can get pushed back at the point of attack. Doesn't get a lot of reps blocking between the tackles. Needs to improve in pass protection.
Overview: He's a decent collegiate blocker, but not as physical or polished as you'd like. He'll be 25 when the season starts due to his Mormon mission he took from 2004-05. A decent secondary rushing option for the Cougars, finishing his career with 1,181 yards and 14 touchdowns.
NFL Forecast: His best chance of sticking in the pros is based off his special teams prowess. He doesn't bring a ton to the table offensively, and I doubt he'll ever be a starter. But if he can get bigger and stronger, might make a nice backup option that occasionally sees the field. He could stick in the league for a few years, but I doubt he has a long NFL career beyond his first contract.
ATL Forecast: Probably not going to make the Falcons roster unless he can stick on special teams. Has some talent worth developing as a blocker, but nothing special. The Falcons would likely find a better option within a year or two to replace him.
Value: Don't draft him, but is worth a signing in free agency.
